Bayfront Park: Located on Little Traverse Bay with amazing views, this park is equipped with lots of picnic tables and or empty spots in the grass that will make for a perfect blanket style picnic.
Sunset Park: Sunset Park is just down the road and up the stairs from Bayfront Park, this park overlooks Little Traverse Bay. The park is complete with a gazebo on top and picnic tables down below. Enjoy a nice picnic, and stick around for a beautiful Northern Michigan sunset.
Pennsylvania Park: At Pennsylvania Park, you will find a gazebo, several picnic tables, and plenty of grass for a social distancing picnic. This park is centered in Petoskey’s Downtown District, surrounded by local restaurants and ice cream parlors.
East Park: East Park is tucked in between Petoskey and Bay Harbor; it offers magnificent views with a bike and walking path for everyone to enjoy. East Park makes for a great stop if you are out for a bike ride or a walk. For a fun afternoon, take a break, have a picnic, and enjoy the water and the park's views.
Spring Lake Park: Located off M-119, this park is centered around the small but beautiful Spring Lake. Grab your meal and sit at one of the picnic tables while enjoying the views of this small lake and watching people fish, bike by, and enjoying the wildlife.
Lockwood Park: Lockwood Park has a baseball field, bleachers and picnic tables in the far outfield. Play a fun family game of baseball ball, have some lunch, and walk over to Corner Scoops on Kalamazoo for some after picnic ice cream.
Petoskey State Park: 3 miles Northeast of Petoskey, you will find the Petoskey State Park, one of our favorite spots. Petoskey State Park offers camping, a sandy beach, dunes to climb, and great spots to have a picnic. Grab one of the many picnic tables, a sandy spot on the beach or dunes, and enjoy your picnic.
